One of a kind ancient sailing vessel ornament titled: The Ship Came Out of the Bottle.
This miniature reminded me of the ships you see in bottles. I turned it around and hung the bottle under the ship (maybe that's a treasure map inside). I also added a book titled Treasure Island. (the pages turn but they are blank).
I first painted a wood oval blue then added dimensional magic and the miniature sailing vessel. I wrapped washi tape resembling waves around the sides and added scrapbook paper vintage style map to the bottom and sealed these with decoupage. Finally, I added the bottle with a message inside and book.
When I researched the type of vessel this is, I learned that the Portuguese added red, Templer Crosses to the sails of their ancient vessels.
