One of a kind ornament titled: Pinocchio Visits Santa and Got on His Nice List.
I got this Pinocchio figurine and almost immediately pictured putting him together with Santa and to include something about Pinocchio's nose growing if he tells a lie. I looked through my collection of Santa figurines and found this ornament take of Norman Rockwell's "No Christmas Problem Now".
I created a word print of what Pinocchio was saying to himself on his way to see Santa (I will not lie. I must not lie.) and then what he was saying when he left ( I didn't lie. I didn't lie. My nose didn't grow. Santa put me on his Nice list). I covered the top of a wood disc with this, covered the bottom with glitter scrapbook paper and wrapped washi tape around the side. I sealed the top with decoupage. I added the decorated Christmas tree. And the final touch was to add Pinocchio's name to Santa's book.
This could be a wonderful child's ornament with a little "message" about telling the truth. Pinocchio is such a cultural icon, this should appeal to someone of any age.
