One of a Kind
The Snowbaby or Snowbaby-like figurine is one of 3 similarly styled ornaments I found in a vintage flea market. They were labled Snowbabies but I can't confirm that. Regardless of the "pedigree", this young child is precious. Notice the high degree of detail.
I believe this figurine is either bisque porcelain or ceramics.
As adorable as this figurine is, I think adding the backdrop elevates the visibility and appeal. I created the back drop covering the front with an image of snowy mountains and the back with a vintage picture. I painted the holly with Liquid Pearls. I sealed the back and front with decoupage and added a little glitter. I added some artificial snow to the front. I covered the sides with washi tape.
