I crafted my first gerbil ornament last year and decided to do another one this year. I remembered I had this plastic dollhouse and felt this was the perfect thing to use in crafting the ornament. Downstairs is Santa and the Christmas tree in one room and a mini Gingerbread house in the other room. Upstairs the two hamsters are spying on Santa. (They didn't have to struggle with staying awake since they are nocturnal). The house sits on a wood base that is painted and covered with a light dusting of snow.
