I purchased a couple different Disney Snap On figurines to see how they'd re-purpose as ornaments and I'm happy with how this Merida ornament turned out!
I used a wood cut ornament as the base. I designed the prints used to cover the front and painted the back. I sealed this with glitter decoupage to give a little sparkle to the ornament. I wrapped the sides with decorative trim. I added an inspirational charm to the back and a miniature book titled Brave that has images of other Disney Princesses inside.
The appeal of this ornament is not limited to Christmas.
