Title: The Tree
This art piece came about as I was considering how to use the raw gemstone rectangles that frame the tree. They were a great yard sale find that I think were originally sold as an educational sampling of gemstones
.
After deciding to use the stones as a frame, and that the picture should be an evergreen tree, I looked for "The Tree" and found this image on The Graphics Fairy site.
I used a wood plaque that simulates barn wood to back the print and burlap to frame it. Then I applied Ranger Liquid Pearl to the tree image so the look of The Evergreen Tree contrasts with the more rustic elements.
