This parakeet figurine is so realistic! He seemed a natural for a keyboard player. Note the play on words - Budgie/Budget; Budget Lounge and Tips, Don't be Cheep - cheap/cheep. For tips, Budgie welcomes fruit as well as coin. Budgie may be Headlining in the Budget Lounge, but there's nothing cheap about the fancy drinks served here or the entertainment this ornament brings.
The base is wood that I painted with acrylic paint mixed with soft gloss gel. I covered the bottom with felt and wrapped the side with washi tape. Budgie is a Mojo figurine that is made of PVC and hand painted. The keyboard is plastic.
