One of a kind, handcrafted Wonderland Red Queen ornament.
This Red Queen began as a 1999 Hallmark ornament designed by Madam Alexander. In crafting this ornament, I gave her a platform and a scene.
The base is wood. I covered the top with scrapbook paper in an almost chess board pattern, then sealed this with decoupage. The bottom is covered with glitter scrapbook paper and ribbon trim decorates the sides. I spray painted 3 chess pieces then decoupaged mini pictures and text from Through The Looking Glass on them. To add a touch of bling, I glued miniature swarvoski crystals to the Queen's crown and sceptor.
